All of our dentists are graduates of Australian dental universities and Australian trained. This is important as our training and education are to Australian standards, with all of our dentists and staff being friendly, professional and approachable.
We are not a corporation—we are family-operated, which means that you can be sure that our dentists and support staff have high standards of care. Dr Belinda Chen
Dr Belinda practices general dentistry, with a focus on preventative dental care. She has a gentle, caring and understanding approach towards all her patients. Dr Belinda received Honours in Dentistry and keeps up-to-date with dental developments. Being a mum, she completely understands how busy it can be to find time to look after your teeth, so aims to make dentistry easy, stress-free and affordable for everyone.
Dr Clare Compton
Dr Clare is dedicated, calm and caring in nature. She takes her time with patients and explains all your questions so you are comfortable when you walk in the door. Beyond her passion for dentistry she finds joy in spending her quality time with her children.
Dr Connie Ju
Dr Connie has a very gentle and caring nature, and aims to put all patients at ease. She aims for all patients to have a positive experience at the dentist and to enable patients to maintain their oral health long-term.
Dr Alex Huynh
Dr Alex has a very gentle and caring nature, and aims to put all patients at ease. He aims to explain and talk to patients prior to proceeding with the appointment. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball with his team and has a keen interest in sports.
Dr Ming Chen
Dr Ming is a skilled dentist with a calm demeanour. Ming believes in keeping his patients well-informed and comfortable during their dental visits and prides himself on his open communication. Outside of work, Ming enjoys playing basketball, staying active and balanced.
Support Staff
Amanda (Manager)
Amanda is amazing with children, having come from an early childhood education background. If you advise Amanda of any concerns you may have, she will look after you for a great dental experience at Wollongong Dental. She enjoys swimming, walks around the lovely Wollongong foreshore and spending time with her 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Cass
Cass enjoys both answering calls at reception and chair-side assisting in order to make your experience at Wollongong Dental a pleasant one. In her spare time, she tries to learn another language, e.g. Chinese, to make patients feel at ease in the chair.
Liv
Liv is a friendly and caring dental assistant who has been with us since leaving school. She has obtained her Cert III and Cert IV, and has become a trusted and beloved member of our team. Her fantastic attitude and warm smile keep us and patients comfortable and always laughing throughout the day.
Renae
Renae has obtained her dental assisting certificate and is committed to helping patients experience the best possible dental visit. Her gentle nature puts patients at ease, and her experience in the dental field means she is a valuable asset to the team!
Jodi
Jodi has received her Certificate III in Dental Assisting. Jodi enjoys chair side assisting to make sure all patients have a comfortable time at the dentist. In her spare time she enjoys our local beaches and cafés.

We have three up-to-date fully equipped dental surgeries. Our very experienced dentists maintain continuous professional development through attendance at lectures and courses. We utilise the latest technologies, such as ultra-speed, low radiation digital x-rays.
We are committed to high dental standards, professionalism and infection control, in order to provide you with a pleasant dental experience.

As well as English, we can speak Chinese Mandarin. Please advise when booking if you require a Chinese speaking dentist.
