We accept all health funds, and offer no-gap check-up and clean with eligible private health insurance (minimum cover applies). If you have a dental health insurance, we discount the gap you normally have to pay for preventative dental services, and accept only the health fund rebate! This means gap-free dental check-up and clean services, and no out-of-pocket expenses for your regular visit to the dentist (with eligible dental cover)!
We also bulk-bill for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule and Veterans Affairs, if you are eligible for government dental cover. Medicare does not cover adult dental treatment, not like they cover medical visits, as dentistry is considered private health rather than public (covered if you have dental insurance).

Health Fund Rebates
We are preferred provider dentists of the health funds: Australian Unity and CBHS Health Fund. Also, we accept over 40 health funds on-the-spot via HICAPS, without patients needing to submit a claim to receive the rebate back. We provide no-gap health-fund rebate only on check-up, clean & polish, and x-rays for eligible health fund covers with dental extras (minimum limits apply)! We accept Medibank, BUPA, NIB, HCF, AHM, Defence Health, Teachers Health Fund, HBF, Peoplecare, health.com.au, Frank Health Insurance, and many more! Simply bring your health fund card with the magnetic strip at the back, and we can process the appointment through the HICAPS terminal, meaning no need to claim back from the health fund. For consultations, cleans and x-rays we offer no-gap or discounted packages so that you don’t have to worry about a big gap for your regular visit!
Discounts
For patients without health funds, we offer a 10% discount off full-priced procedures for students and pensioners (need to present at arrival and before treatment plan is finalised, and where no other discounts have been applied). We are located in the Wollongong CBD (Central Business District), on Crown Street – opposite Commonwealth Bank. We are in the pedestrian part of Crown Street Mall and just outside Wollongong Central shopping centre, between Swallowed Anchor & Australia Post (past H&M).
There is parking available in the Wollongong Central shopping centre and also street parking on Market St, or Kembla St.
The Free Shuttle Bus (55A/55C) stops very close to our practice (Stop 13). To help you plan your trip, you may want timetable info and maps for the Free Shuttle Bus.
